The program and the account
These terms cover this website, the Akrib program and your account. To use the program you sign in to an account. Signing in means you agree to the usage counting described in the privacy policy (simple events, no meeting content), done per computer. Deleting the account erases the data as described there. Your recordings, transcripts and summaries are yours and stay on your computer.
Plans
- Trial: when you first sign in you get 14 days of the paid plan, without a card. One trial per person and per computer; creating new accounts to repeat it is not allowed.
- Free plan: recording, transcription, topics with their source, the library and all profiles, with recordings of up to 45 minutes each, up to 5 exports a month (all formats, with a "Made with Akrib" footer) and 1 computer.
- Paid plan (R$ 25 per month): recordings with no time limit, unlimited exports without the footer, larger speech and text models, the Parakeet engine, speaker separation, live doubts, the floating window, the MCP server, cloud AI with your own key and up to 3 computers.
Features and limits can evolve; changes that take something away from a paid plan you already bought apply only from your next period, and we will tell you before.
Paying
- Card: a subscription handled by Stripe. It renews every month until you cancel.
- Pix: a prepaid period of 30 days, with no automatic renewal. We email you reminders before it ends; you pay again when you want to continue.
- Late payment: if a card payment fails, the paid plan stays active for 5 more days while Stripe tries again; for Pix there are 3 days after the period ends. After that the account goes back to the Free plan. Nothing you recorded is deleted.
- Canceling: cancel any time in the program (Account → Plan → Manage plan) or on the Stripe page it opens. The paid plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid.
- Refunds: within 7 days of your first purchase you can ask for a full refund by email, under the right of withdrawal in Brazilian consumer law. Beyond that we do not refund periods already started, except for erroneous charges. A refund or a chargeback ends the paid plan immediately.
- Price changes: we announce them at least 30 days ahead; they apply from your next period.
Without internet
The program renews your plan in the background. Without internet it keeps working with the last confirmation for up to 7 days (14 days on a paid card plan, and never beyond the end of a Pix period plus its grace days). After that the paid features pause until it reconnects. Reading your meetings is never blocked, and a recording already made is always kept.
The Free plan recording limit
On the Free plan each recording lasts up to 45 minutes. The program warns you 5 minutes before and then stops and saves the recording, which is transcribed and analyzed normally; you can start another one right away. The trial and the paid plan have no time limit.
Your responsibility
- Keep your password and second factor safe; tell us if you think the account was compromised.
- When recording meetings, you are responsible for informing participants and complying with applicable laws and rules.
- Do not use the site or the program to abuse the service, bypass the limits of a plan, share one account across more computers than it allows or access other people's accounts. We may limit or suspend an account that does, after warning you by email.
No warranty
The program and the site are provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation or results. Transcripts and topics generated by AI models may contain errors and should be checked before any important decision. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use.
Changes and contact
